Who is the GCSE Spanish Club for?

The club is designed for students currently studying towards GCSE Spanish who would benefit from additional exam-focused support in a small, friendly environment. Students work on the knowledge, skills and exam techniques they need to build confidence and make progress across listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Which year groups can join?

The groups are designed for students in their GCSE years, normally 4th and 5th year of secondary school education. In England, this is typically Years 10 and 11, while in Northern Ireland this is Years 11 and 12.

Which languages and exam boards do you cover?

I currently offer dedicated groups for AQA, Edexcel and CCEA GCSE Spanish. Teaching, resources and exam practice are tailored to the relevant specification. If your child is studying GCSE Spanish with a different exam board, please get in touch. I’ll be happy to check how closely their specification aligns with the courses I currently support and whether a group would be suitable for them.

Do you offer a French or A-Level Club?

At present, my group tuition is focused on GCSE Spanish. However, I offer 1:1 tuition in both Spanish and French, from Primary through to A-Level, with lessons tailored to the individual student’s course, level and goals. You can find out more on my 1:1 Language Tuition page.

Is the club suitable for students with SEND?

Yes. Students with SEND are very welcome to join my GCSE Spanish Club. How many students are in each group?

Groups are limited to a maximum of six students. This keeps classes small and interactive, giving every student opportunities to participate, ask questions and receive individual feedback while benefiting from learning alongside others.
